7:00: Bus and tour guide pick you up at the Old Quarter or Tropical Cruise office at 95H Ly Nam De Street. This applies to guests who book the combo including the day trip transportation.
The bus takes the highway from Hanoi to Hai Phong with a rest stop before arriving at Dong Bai Pier.
10:00–10:15: Arrive at Dong Bai Pier. Guests experience a high-speed boat from Dong Bai Pier to Cai Vieng Pier, enjoying views of Vietnam’s largest international container port.
10:30: Guests transfer by bus to Cat Ba town, traveling along one of Vietnam’s most beautiful coastal roads with stunning Lan Ha Bay viewpoints perfect for photo stops.
11:00–11:30: Arrive at the pier. Guests board the cruise, enjoy a welcome drink, and cruise past the ancient Cai Beo Fishing Village — a thousand-year-old village in the sea.
11:45: Buffet lunch on the cruise featuring fresh seafood from the Cat Ba region.
13:15: The cruise heads to Viet Hai Pier. Guests take an electric shuttle through one of Vietnam’s most scenic coastal biking routes, passing the Kong Skull film set, going through mountain tunnels, ancient forests, and arriving at the hundred-year-old Viet Hai Village to experience traditional Vietnamese rural life, enjoy fish massage, and bike around the village.
14:30: Guests return to the cruise.
14:45: The cruise anchors in the calmest bay area, and guests enjoy water sports together with family and friends.
14:45–15:30: Guests participate in kayaking to explore the Tai Keo area, freely paddling among the small islands.
